I just finished up some of the bigger pieces of Mugshot and am getting ready to polish up a 0.3 release - or something minor like that. Basically, at this point, it can show you all of your photos, photosets, contacts, your contacts photos, and group pools. And all without totally abominable performance. It’s abominable, but not *totally* abominable. (I’ve got some ideas for how to speed it up - but unless you’re looking at a set of more than about 500 photos, it should perform OK.) It still needs so much work, but progress is progress.

As part of “adding some polish” to the app, I just added this script from Daniel Jalkut to my Mugshot build process. Very slick. It even keeps Subversions indicator to tell you whether the current build had any sources modified compared to the repository.
