The 0th Iron Coder is under way. You can see the details at ironcoder.org and at The Judge’s site. I read through the API and jotted down a few application concepts: FogOfWar, Impressionist, and AccessibilitySabotager. Every time I sit down to think about hacks on Accessibility, all I can think is “remote control” or how funny it would be to try and recreate a UI based on info from the API. Since Accessibility only exposes UI elements that are important to the user, rebuilding a UI based on the info seems like a recipe for a funny disaster - and also wide open to artistic theme interpretation. Hmmm. Maybe concepts from here mixed with Accessibility?

Besides doing some tests with PyObjC, there’s pretty much nothing to any of these three programs besides notes on a piece of paper. I’ll put in a couple more hours today, hopefully my brain comes together enough for a respectable entry!
